Tuenti was born in 2006 as a social network, being the most popular social network in Spain between 2009 and 2012, with more than 15 million registered users (as even denominated as “Spanish Facebook”).
After being purchased by Telefónica S.A (the most important European telecomunications company, and 5th in the world), Tuenti is a OMV with a mobile communication and line management application. Is the first TELCO to present a totally cloud-based telephony service proposal focused on customer experience and totally online.
As a Design Lead in Tuenti for more than two years, I guided my team through the transition from social network to OMV, a most challenging project from the product design perspective. This process involved transform and grow the team, research about our new user needs and develope a new kind of products/services.
